The Nocturnal Bride

I think that I am going mad! Totally and utterly cook-coo. Our original plan for a summer wedding August 2011 has now been brought forward to August 2010, Why? well nothing bad has happened forcing us to bring in forward if that's what your thinking and god forbid that it does, but when we sat down and talked about it just over a week ago we realised that no matter how hard we try we will never save enough for an expensive wedding, because we just don't have any money to save, we live on bargains, home-made and freecycle, don't get me wrong we are so happy but we just aren't rich, we also realised that what matters to us isn't the personalised matchboxes and huge flower displays, its the becoming husband and wife that matters to us and doing it in front of the friends and family who make us who we are, and so that's what we are going to do! we have no savings what so ever, we are paying for bits as we go along, trading and swapping where we can and selling all our unwanted stuff on eBay. I shall be making as much as i can including my dress, headdress, invites, favours the list goes on and on, I have also enlisted my brilliant family and friends to help make things and luckily they are a very very talented bunch! So tonight, well morning its 3.25am I am looking up discount codes and sales, thinking of ideas and making mock ups of the invitations and do you know what? I am loving it! from what I am planning even with no big wedding budget I am having my perfect day, everything that I could possibly want, well fingers crossed!
